Finding a perfect angle, making a perfect exposure, and creating lighting to enhance the character’s stature are all essential elements of good picture taking. But what’s most important for me, is artistically negotiating the inner emotions of my subject matter. So at the end, the editors can see that I have captured something beyond the mere physical characteristics of often stoic CEOs.
